The European Central Bank keeps the main refinancing operation rate at 0.75%, while the rates for marginal lending facility and deposit facility are left unchanged as well at 1.5% and 0% respectively. The market was expecting a cut of the main refinancing rate to 0.50%.
As usual, there will be press conference later, and it can be watched here. The coming press conference will be an important one as it is expected that Mario Draghi will announce his plan to save the Euro, so to speak. The leaked details can be read here.
